Sept ends with a paddle down the Eel River Estuary

Sept. 18:  Had dinner with Sarah and Kevin at Barlata in Oakland.

Sept. 20:  Went into SF for dinner with one of Buddy's old college friends, Mike.  Marc and Athena joined us at Super Duper Burger.

Sept 22:  Had lunch with Barbara, Mike, Stephanie, Paul, and Izzy at Table 24 in Orinda.  Then we hung out at Stephanie and Paul's house.  Afterwards Barbara and Mike hung out at our house, went to Ici for snacktime, and then went to the Oakland Eat Real Fest.  We bumped into Suzy and Peder there!  Then we headed into the city for Marc and Athena's housewarming and birthday celebration.

Sept. 23:  Had brunch at Hudson, and then went into SF for the North Beach ArtWalk and Chinatown Autumn Moon Festival.  I had a blast.  Had noodles at Capital Resturant.  Yum!

Sept. 24:  Went to Nola's for dinner with Melissa, Robin, and Greg.

Sept. 25:  Dinner with Patrick and Garmay.

Sept. 27:  Reel Rock Film Festival

Sept. 28-Oct. 1:  Sampled downstream algal transects.  Finished transects on Saturday and did drift net sampling.  Set up estuary experiment on Sunday and then kayaked down the estuary.  Stayed at Frank's for dinner where we celebrated my PhD!  Then wrapped up the estuary experiment on Monday.
