Maui - day four

Dec. 19: Had a late start in taking the Road to Hana. With our handy cd guide, we made our way towards the other side of the Haleakala National Park. Did a little hiking in the rainforest. Then in the Arboretum we walked amongst some crazy cool vegetation, (me in the roots of a tropical tree) (me next to a "painted" ecalyptus tree), saw some crazy waves while eating delicious banana bread, and swam in one of the Pools of Ohe'o in the Haleakala National Park at Kipahulu. The road had over 600 hairpin turns and 100 single lane bridges! On the way back home, we had a SUPER YUMMY dinner in the little town of Paia at the Mambo Cafe.
